Well Today is the Day
Today wasn't really supposed to be the day. I'd decided to start my juice feast on December 5th. But my juicer got here in the mail yesterday and this little voice inside has been repeating over and over again "Why put off for tomorrow what you can do today?" And so, here I go! December 1st is the beginning of a new adventure.
I feel excited. A little nervous. A bit apprehensive. But mostly, totally ready to rock this experience.
Here's My Plan:
A 10 Day Juice Feast
4 fresh pressed juices a day- 16 to 20 oz each. More if I need them. I'm aiming for 60% veggies and 40% fruit
At least 80 oz of water daily
Looks like I'll be visiting the restroom a little more frequently. . . We'll find out if it's worth it by the end lol
My Goals:
1- Energy! Get rid of this sluggish feeling that's been weighing me down the past couple months
2- Digestion! Get these intestines of mine flowing freely again and drop the bloating
3- Comfort! I've been feeling a little uncomfortable in my body lately, evidence that I've inched up the scale a bit. I aim to drop back down to my comfort weight. It's where I feel fabulous in my body and that's where I plan to be very soon
4- Good Habits! Drop the sugar cravings and junk food habits that have slowly been sneaking back into my life. Get my body used to colorful nutrients again.
When the time comes to end the feast I'll round out my diet once more with beautiful, nutrient dense, whole foods and lean proteins.
Why am I doing this? Because I'm worth it.
I'll keep you posted along the way. I think we'll learn a lot as the days go by!
