DAY TWO: BRAIN FOOD IN A JAR
Day Two has definitely been harder than Day One! I'm doing alright, not hungry at all. But, other food has looked pretty appealing today! I even thought about taking a bite of Hamburger Helper tonight and that's about nasty. Biggest Struggle though. . . I have had to pee ALL DAY LONG. Not sure how much longer I can stand 3 trips to the bathroom per hour lol. "Wait in hypnosis a minute, I'll be right back." I may not have clients long if I keep that up!
Despite the temptations, I stuck to juice only. My body feels ok; not great but not bad. They say there's a detox period where you can feel pretty crappy. And then apparently you start to feel great. We shall see!
The recipes I used today made enough for two servings each, check out the lovely pic above! So I had enough for today and Day Three is juiced and ready. Fresh pressed juice is best used within 2 days to keep the most nutritional benefits so I'll save other recipes for Day Four and beyond.
Today's Lineup:
Juice One- Fog Cutter. Pretty tasty and made two pint jars. I'd give it a 7.5 for taste. Red cabbage really is kind of bland. I think next time I may add a little extra ginger or maybe an orange
Juice Two- Mean Green. Oh man, it's pretty and it's apparently soooooo good for me. But it's about a 3 for taste. Maybe it'll grow on me by tomorrow.
Juice Three- Sweet Beets. This one was pretty good actually. I'm surprised that the beets aren't as overpowering as many people have mentioned. This one was tasty enough that I won't dread drinking it again tomorrow. Let's say 8.
Juice Four- Beautiful Body. This one had an AWESOME variety of foods. It made FOUR jars of juice so I'll be drinking a lot of it tomorrow :) Here's the goods that went into those top four jars.
